Terms of service
How this site is offered, and what is expected in return
This site is offered free of charge, without registration, and without any commercial relationship between you and rbxoffsets. These terms describe what that means in both directions. By using the site or the API you accept them; if you do not, do not use them.
What the service is
rbxoffsets records which versions of the Roblox client are current on Windows, macOS and
Android, keeps copies of those client packages, and publishes memory offsets for the builds it
observes. All of it is available as web pages and as an open JSON API at
https://rbxoffsets.com/api/v1. No key, no account and no payment are required
for anything.
No warranty, and no promise that it will be there tomorrow
Everything is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
Specifically and deliberately: there is no uptime guarantee, no service level, and no commitment to keep any address working. Offsets may be wrong, incomplete, stale, or absent for a build. Version information may lag reality or misreport it. Files may be missing. The site may go away entirely and without notice. If your project cannot tolerate any of that, do not build it so that it has to.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, rbxoffsets is not liable for any damages of any kind arising from your use of this site, the API, the files or the offsets — including lost data, lost work, lost profit, or a crashed, corrupted or banned anything. You use what is published here at your own risk and on your own judgement.
Acceptable use
There are very few rules, because there are very few problems. In summary: do not make this site worse for the next person.
- Do not overload it. The API is open and meant to be called; it is not meant to be hammered. Poll no faster than the tracker itself does — a request a minute per client is generous, and anything faster tells you nothing new because nothing upstream has changed. Cache what you fetch. Prefer the JSON endpoints, which are small, over repeatedly downloading whole files.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent its access controls, probe it for weaknesses without permission, or interfere with anybody else’s use of it.
- Do not misrepresent what you took. Using anything published here is encouraged and needs no permission. Claiming you produced it is not — see the copyright and licence page, which covers this in full.
Access may be restricted or withdrawn at any time, for any deployment or source that is causing a problem, without notice and without explanation.
Relationship to Roblox Corporation
rbxoffsets is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Roblox Corporation in any way. "Roblox" is a trademark of Roblox Corporation and is used here only to identify the software this site tracks — a descriptive use, and no claim of any right in the mark is made or implied.
The client packages mirrored here are Roblox Corporation’s software. They are copied unmodified from publicly available distribution points and are offered only so that a specific build stays retrievable after it has been superseded. Nothing about them is altered, patched or repackaged. Your use of that software is governed by Roblox Corporation’s own terms, not by these — downloading a copy from here does not grant you rights you would not otherwise have, and it remains your responsibility to comply with those terms.
Third-party material
Some of what is published here was produced by other people and is mirrored with credit rather than owned. Their rights are unaffected by these terms and are described on the copyright and licence page.
Your own responsibilities
You are responsible for what you do with what you take from here, and for complying with the laws that apply to you and the terms of any software you use it with. If your use of this material causes a claim against rbxoffsets, you are responsible for it.
Changes
These terms change when the service does. The site is open source and every revision of this page is recorded in its public history, which is where the authoritative account of what changed lives. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
